The drought in eastern Australia is having a negative impact on most NSW dairy farms. Farmers are exiting the industry, as reported by the ABC.
This week, Rob spoke with the ABC about the impact of this drought on his business as well as on other dairy farmers in NSW. Rob wants farmers to receive a fair price for their milk. And so, too, does the NSW Minister for Primary Industries, Niall Blair, who agreed that supermarkets should be raising the price of milk during such a harsh drought. The supermarkets refuse to do so.
