We've started hand-feeding our herds. Hay supplies have been delivered, and more and more will keep coming, as we're forced to hand-feed the herds on both Narrawilly and Croobyar farms. Too little rain combined with strong winds and high temperatures means the grass in our paddocks isn't suitable for grazing. With less than 26mm of rain thus far this month, and dire warnings of imminent "catastrophic weather conditions" issued by authorities, we're going to require a lot more hay this spring.

The Bureau also publishes monthly rainfall data for Milton dating back to 1876.
