Our farm is a proud supporter of one of our local schools' adopt-a-calf initiative. Every year, two of our calves are raised by school children, under teachers' supervision, for the duration of the school year. Caring for these calves is a way of introducing children to animal husbandry and helping them learn about the fascinating lives of cows.
